Army & Air Force Exchange Service

Andersen Air Force Base, Guam

The Army & Air Force Exchange Service or AAFES is a new construction. The roof is poured concrete and is 186,000 sq. ft. The roof deck is very similar to WRM.

The Architects and General Contractor of AAFES, encouraged by the look and effectiveness of the silicone waterproofing system on WRM, turned to PIC for assistance. PIC was active in all stages of design, specification and implementation. This is an on-going project.

With construction in full blast PIC had all seams and joints taped, the whole deck primed and half the deck had base coat on in the first two weeks. Base coat is scheduled to be complete by the 12th of March, and the whole system should be completed by the end of March.
